After watching this… would you buy any of these new smart home products from IKEA?
Which one?
Went to ikea this weekend to get some door sensors and bulbs but they were out of stock. I’m so pleased, after watching this. I think I’ll swerve it for a while
I have 16 of the new bulbs (mix of white and colour, LED and filament), 8 buttons, 7 motion sensors, 6 door/window sensors, 2 water leak sensors and the air quality sensor, all connected using thread through a single AppleTV 4k with Ethernet, no other hubs or boarder routers.
Had them setup for nearly 3 weeks and all have been rock solid, no drop outs.
All devices connected first time, didn’t have any timeouts/failures.
Only issue I’ve had was with the filament bulb, with Apples adaptive lighting it would turn on randomly, turning off adaptive on that bulb sorted it.
Really happy with these devices so far and will be grabbing more from their range when they release.

If you’re having trouble adding IKEA devices to Apple Home, restart your iPhone and it should work. I don’t know why this is the case and why IKEA doesn’t include this tip in their instructions, but it works. Greetings from Germany.
