  1. I believe it all works but after working out the kinks. He most likely went thru many different smarthome devices to get his right setup. Takes time, it took him years.

  2. The window cover thing in the morning looks cool the rest is just gimmicks. Just turn on the light switch bro and maybe get a dishwasher while you`re at it. It would probably save you a lot more time than all these lights and alarms.

  3. My dream is to have a house one day, and AUTOMATE IT. I want a server room to take care of everything. Layer 3 Switches, Router, VLAN’s, Proxmox server to have an automation server on it

I want it to do EVERYTHING for me!! Walk into a room light it up to red, need more light? make it white. Leave the room turn it off or have light strips turn on. Go to bed? Turn the alarm on, turn everything off.

I live in an apartment at a job that doesnt allow me to save: paycheck to paycheck – paid off my debts so hopefully that helps. But as for now I have smart bulbs in my apartment in my bedroom, living room, bathroom, and study area. I control them with an app I wrote in qt6/c++ (KDE Linux based) that has a schedule. No motion sensors…yet.

HOPEFULLY A BETTER JOB APPEARS SOON!!!! My CCNA has to pay off for something.
